Thanks for your comment on my Monsanto blog. I’m with you, usually, I just turn red as well and become spastically non-verbal. But something happened one night when I had just had ENOUGH. I’m curious to know how it works out. The cow manure that John was using was composted – that’s why it didn’t stink. He’d let it sit for about 3-4 months. I never got a price on that – do you know how much it is?

I am actually going to try composted horse manure that Mike the Roto Tiller Guy will deliver for $100 for 3 yards! I haven’t done it yet, but I’ll let you know how it works out. I’ve read good things about composted horse manure and it appears to be less harsh than straight cow manure on plants since uncomposted manure can burn them.
