Evanne, you can have a plot in our yard (raised bed, organic soil). I already love you and am happy to DTGR. Realize it's a trek from the West side but just wanted to throw it out there. (I'm not quite ready to invite people I don't know into the yard but am happy to open it up to those I do. Admire those who can do it with strangers, but I'm not quite there myself! ;)

This is wonderful ! I'm impressed by the determination of people like you who are not letting mere concrete get in the way of their desire to learn to grow food. I'm excited to read this blog and follow along on your gardening journey. You might want to consider getting a beehive as well, for pollination. I'm a bit of an alarmist when it comes to the future of our food :)

My friend Milli, and Master Gardener, used Grow Friend and loves it. She has a garden on her own but who can't use more space. She partnered with a lovely family and is sharing her knowledge.

Whatever you do, make sure the garden owner contacts you first, and don't plant any seeds until he or she says I love you and DTGR (Defines the Garden Relationship)And don't look at any squashes too adoringly - You have LOTS of other gardens to plant in...at least that's what the garden owner should think. Ah, the dating game, what a time it was! (but glad it's over)
